近日，蛟塘镇农技站工作人员联合兽医一起，到养牛大户的养殖场地，对养殖的牛群开展耕牛血防工作。
耕牛体积大，气力大，要喂食药物十分不方便。大家努力配合，积极协作，由养殖户用绳索套住牛角，拉至桩前慢慢收紧绳索，农技员将混合好的药水灌入牛嘴之中，对耕牛进行血吸虫病防治。
血吸虫病是我国危害最严重的人畜共患寄生虫病之一，而耕牛血吸虫病防治是控制血吸虫病的有效措施，蛟塘镇一直以来十分重视血防工作，通过加大对血防工作的宣传、加强采血普查、抓好血吸虫病检疫和传染源管控等措施，建立健全长效机制，确保广大人民群众身体健康。
